Hi, I'm Jeff and I began my photography journey when I was 14 years old with the purchase of my first 35mm camera, a Canon Canonet 28. I quickly knew photography would be my lifetime hobby. A year later I began developing and printing my own film in a home darkroom that my father built for me in the garage. At the age of 18, I began photographing weddings and working at a camera shop.
After completing my first two years of college, my career path didn't take me into photography. I fulfilled another dream and followed in my father's footsteps and began a career in law enforcement when I turned 20 years old. I continued in that career, with the same agency, for 31 years and retired as a Captain. While I didn't plan on retiring at such a young age, it became necessary to protect some lifetime retirement benefits.
After traveling and taking photographs for a couple of years, I decided that would be the next chapter of my life. So I bought an RV, upgraded all of my camera equipment, and hit the road pursuing my photography dream with my own business. My motto has always been, "Photographs are the best souvenirs"!
