Reviewing The Jennings KOA Holiday RV Park | Florida-Georgia Line

When traveling out of or back to Florida on I-75, the Jennings KOA Holiday RV Park is conveniently located on the Florida-Georgia line on I-75. For me, this means my home is just about 4 hours away. A perfect starting or stopping point for the day.

The Check-In Process

Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was how clean the campground appeared. The check-in process was easy and the staff was friendly. When I arrived, it was raining (photos taken the next day), so my main mission was to get hooked up without getting drenched.

The RV Sites

I opted for a lake view site (# 10) when I made the reservations (a few days prior). The sites had two concrete strips for you to drive on which did help by providing a level site, however, your RV door opened to a grass area that was muddy from the rain. There were full hookups, including cable and free Wi-Fi. The cable provided about 24 channels and the Wi-Fi was excellent and allowed flawless streaming. However, the campground was not very busy, so the Wi-Fi quality could change with more occupancy. Firepits were only available at certain sites and you are not allowed to use your own firepit or outside wood. Their map brochure with rules indicated that this is because of local regulations.

The Amenities

Jennings KOA is classified as a “Holiday” KOA which is branded as a “Basecamp” for adventure. As a Holiday KOA it typically means:

  • RV Sites with a KOA Patio®
  • Deluxe Cabins with full baths
  • Premium Tent Sites
  • Group meeting facilities

With approximately 100 full hookup sites, only three sites are listed as having a patio. Their overall “amenities” are limited. The Laundry room was clean and dated along with other amenities being dated. The Jennings KOA website lists the following amenities:

Review & Recommendations

Jennings KOA Holiday RV Park is a perfect stopping point on the way to or out of Florida if you are traveling on I-75 or If you live in the area and are looking for a weekend getaway, then Jennings KOA Holiday RV Park could be a great option. Good Sams’s gives them a 9.5/10*/8.5 rating. The campground facilities are dated but well maintained. It will definitely be on my list for an overnight location but for me, I don’t see it as a destination location (especially with a lack of firepits).
